Hello (robinv)

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I am Robin, live in Wiltshire with my partner and we are a bit animal mad. I came across your forum while doing a bit of research on Parrots.

I have always wanted to have a parrot but have never considered one because we have cats. After visiting a few parrot owners recently found that they can live together, I know some people may disagree with this. So I thought perhaps I would look into it further, which lead me here.

:)

welcome!

I have two cats, three parrots and one dog, and all is well. You do need to be careful and I ALWAYS have the cats in the other room (with the door shut) when the birds are out. But they pay hardly any attention to them anyway. All cats are diferent but they ALL have the instinct to do some terrible damage so you will need to watch them.

But its not impossible as long as your intelligent about it :)

Thanks everyone for the welcome.

Interesting about the cats, we are already very careful with our other animals. Looks like I might be buying another lock for a door. :) Thank you again.
