about what age the cag should talks?

Recommended Posts

hello my friends,

i am worried bcz all my friends(cag owners) told me that my beby should already talk. he is almost 9 months and only he is chating. when is the right age for cags? and the second problem it's his beak- an exfoliate beak.

best regards,

Oana

Each bird learns to talk in their own time ..... some start very early and others are later - they are just like human children in this way.

It is perfectly normal for a beak to look a bit flaky or seem to have layers on the outside - it grows from the inside and as a bird matures the outer layers of the beak begin to wear/flake off. This is why it is important that a bird has things like wood to chew which will help the parrot keep the beak trim.

Have a read of this? ....

At 8 weeks one of mine was saying hello beautifully. By 10 weeks she wouldn't say a thing and kept dead quiet until about 8 months. Now she's a little chatterbox at a year old :D My other cag only started muttering later, and now talks in a very deep, gruff voice :?
