Oh now I get it......new word!

For the last two days Bertie has been saying something that sounds like "Bo-Bo" as if he's calling to someone. We just couldn't figure out what he was saying but it dawned on me today.

 

It's "bye bye" but not yet clear lol.

 

I've been saying that to him for ages now and so he was clearly listening.

 

I find that the moment I can figure out what he is saying and then say it back to him each time, it gets really clear, really fast.

 

Bless him, at least I can stop trying to figure out who Bo Bo is now!

Lol yes, I was beginning to wonder. I kept saying to him, now come on do tell, have you been sneaking out and met a girlfriend? I'm surely crazy but Bertie doesn't seem to mind.

Whenever I leave the house Charlie says be a good girl, I'll be back later and Treacle says be a good boy, I'll be back later. It always makes me smile.

Chewie recycles his words. He knows "Are you a good boy?" and "Good boy"........so he says "boy boy" instead of bye bye! I have a Somerset accent so its probably not too far off lol.
