hi im the owner of one female 3 year old african grey, and a freind has asked me to take in another female african grey that is 8 years old (the owner is going to work away) after thinking about it for a while i said i would if i could get them to accept each other and share the same cage, i would be very gratefull if anyone could advise me on wether it is possible and how to best go about it . .thankyou jeff

Welcome. Basically put them in separate cages next to each other and see how they interact. If you let your original bird out watch for the famous toe-nipping as he walks on the new birds cage. I would advise that you let them out seperately.
