Fireworks..that dreaded time! Tonight i used my full artillery on the dogs..Diazepam, a big meal, a 3hr walk, DAP spray, t-shirts on and a warm room..not sure exactly what worked - but something did as they slept through the lot..albeit there was none right overhead, but normally there would be lots of running around/salivating etc..but something worked tonight..hurrah!

So pleased for you that they were ok, Spike the hutter just kept running to the windows to watch them, then bark at them, Barney as usual slept through it all but they were so loud this year they rattled the doors and windows!

The dogs have not been too bad, they slept through most of it. Birds were the ones that were troubled with the noise. At the height of it we had them all in their cages half covered, absolutely terrified. Mind you they were like grenades going off

Same here last night none of them battered an eyelid!!!!! saturday night was a bit crap as we had 2 major powercuts right in the middle of the peak of the displays.....

It did help that none of our neighbours had them in their gardens this year, that really did make a HUGE difference, so fingers crossed tonight will go well too....

This is Seraphina hiding from the fireworks. She really is a nervous wreck at firework time. The birds were not bothered, neither was Finn.
