Parakeets living wild in London.

The Alan Titchmarsh programme "Nature of Britain" is looking at urban wildlife today. It includes a report on the ringneck parakeets living wild in some London parks.

Its true, we have friends living in Welling and they live near Danson Park and you can regularly see the parakeets, and have been for a couple of years now.....and they are beautiful as well....

We have a smallish flock here in the village, but in the summer we often see huge flocks of them in the surrounding woodlands and open countryside. As we have lots of Buzzards and other large birds of prey too, they clearly are very good at surviving.

we went to a cemetary in kent near Deal and there were tons on geen rngnecks flying around and was really amazin g to see

Up until 18 months ago I lived in Broadstairs in Kent (not far from Deal) and they're were literally hundreds that lived in my square, beautiful

i think it was near there bacardi it was on the coast and was beautiful just amazing to see them flying free

ive heard of a flock of quakers near heathrow does anyone know if theres any truth to it?
