  1. No worries Stormbird, it's the thought that counts
  2. Hi I have sent Edinburgh zoo an email, no response yet. Thanx for your replies. X
  3. Thanx for all the "Welcomes" What a friendly lot you are Anita, actually of all the birds we have here, these QOB conures are my favourite - even as young babies they are really happy to just sit on your shoulder and play with your hair, they even have a lovely smell! Ok, i'll shut up know , I admit I shall be sorry to see the male youngster go - I just wish I could have him myself as I think I've bonded
  4. Just posted on the parrots for sale section
  5. Yes, well spotted this is one of five golden - or queen of bavaria conures that I help to look after, some actually need new homes - although I can't advertise them on this forum ( or have I just....... )
  6. Wow, you are an absolute star  I've saved it. If I can help you with any horticulture or poultry queries please don't hesitate to ask, they're the only subjects I know anything about
  7. Put image on photobucket, not sure which one you need, but here goes, see if you can make any sense out of this little lot. 8. Thanks for that gary, really useful site. Profile still won't let me load it up tho, it says the image must be jpeg - when it actually is! all this trouble just for a piccie
  9. Thanks already, just attempting to upload an avatar - although I think the file is too large. I wish I was more computer literate
  10. Hi Just started helping a friend feed his birds, I still don't know all the names  , but they include conures, amazons, macaws, eclectus, meyers, cockatoos and caiques, oh and a selection of softbills too. I've also had a go at some hand rearing, which is really satisfying, albeit messy! I thought it a good idea to join this site to help me gain a little more info on all things parrotty, so be gentle with me
