our aviary yellowthighed caiques are quite noisy and chew a hell of a lot !!!!!!!!!! but our black headed aviary ones hardly make a sound and dont seem to chew anything. we hav a pet caique (YT)inside and hes very qiuet and doesnt chew much, all i would say is if your thinking of a wooden aviary, make sure you wire it on thew inside, then most if the wood is covered. and just check the wood every day to make sure they havent created an escape hatch.

hi there, when our greys are feeding young in the nest, we put in easily digestable food such as mashed boiled eggs or egg food, cooked potatoes and lots of fresh fruit and veg,and seeded batch bread peices, this is in addition to what they get every day on a normal basis.

sounds like a happy enough b/f to me lottie. rosemary low always tells her birds when she is going out and how long she will be. don't know how effective this is but she swears by it.

a tree is something you throw into a topic when everyone can't get on. lying under a tree on a sunny winters afternoon when the wind is sighing through them is a brilliant experience. jesus did i ever sound like a hippy, its true though
