  1. Thanks Leigh73 my 2 will have a great time stripping down the branches.
  2. I have had to cut down some very large branches from my neighbours twisted willow tree and I wondered does anyone know if they will be OK to use in the aviary. :?:
  3. I haven't used it but the lady who I bought my harlequin great dane from has and she swears by it. If I remember correctly she said the vets were fantastic with the animals and did a brilliant job. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your little one. Hope he makes a full recovery.

I was sure one of you would be able to give me an answer, still never mind, I will just have to keep wondering. Thanks anyway.
  5. I have only just seen this. Poor little soul. At least he didn't die alone at the road side he had the best possible help by our very own guardian angel.
  6. Can anyone tell me why everytime my husband speaks to Treacle, my African Grey, he quickly looks under one wing and then the other. We thought it was just a coincidence at first but we have been watching him closely and he does it each time.
  7. Glad you liked the necklace June, can't think of anyone more deserving. Can't imagine anyone objecting to what you have planned to do with the money. We all know you will use it where it is most needed. Thank you Freddie for organising everything.
  8. Got tears pouring down my face, there's nothing quite like the love and devotion from an animal.
  9. That's great news, I'm sure he will be OK with all the tlc he is receiving.
  10. I notice Jebird hasn't replied to your topic so it may be worth posting again in the General care of Parrots and Parrotlike section as that is where she is often asked for advice on birds. Hope Gin is settling down in his new home.
  11. Dear Rob, The day has finally come, as you knew it would and I cannot imagine how you must be feeling. Thank you for taking the time to let us know and take comfort in the fact that he is at peace now and feeling no pain. I hope and pray that when my time comes I will be as brave as Steve appeared to be. Take care. Alison
  12. Good of you to give this little chap a second chance. I have no experience of disabled birds but Jebirds runs a bird rescue and she will give you all the help and advice you need. She is a very busy lady but as soon as she reads this she will post. Hope he has a long and happy life with you.
  13. That's great news, well done you for giving this bird a second chance.
  14. How is the collared dove this morning? Hope Jebird saw your posting, she'll know what to do.
