  1. Found this not sure if it helps at all Article in todays People "Bertie the parrot has been cleared by a court of keeping his neighbours awake. The Amazon bird was dragged before the beak after Tom Stock, 59 and wife Sue said their sleep is regularly shattered at 4am by his squawks. The furious couple used high-tech equipment supplied by their local council to record noise levels in the bedroom of their detached bungalow at Belton, near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. But taxpayers were landed with the £5,000 cost of the case after magistrates ruled that Bertie had not breached a noise abatement order. Tom, a retired insurance claims assessor said: "We're very disappointed. It is like a jungle noise sometimes going on for two hours. I would defy anyone to sleep through it. We have even asked for an ASBO in the past and this court case was our Big hope". Owner Alan Cooper, 58, said "it's a struggle to get Bertie to say hello, never mind make any other noise.""
  2. For smaller birds i used the empty wine boxes, open the bottom up and remove the bag (this can be blowed up to make a cushion for in the bath rofl)then fold the flaps inside then un hook the one end of the handle, place the box inside cage thread handle through the bars of cage and then fasten the handle back.It makes a great tent, hidy hole.Found it good for hahns macaws and that size bird.
