Use to have an older african grey (charlie) sum years ago but my daughter took him with her an an elderly couple fell in love with him so we let them look after him while we were away n didnt have the heart to take him away from them as the man is very poorly n spends all his time wiv charlie...... Thanks for the welcome!!! Yes think i have treated her to much like a baby!!! But have started to moderate things over the last couple of weeks... is it normal for them to scratch at the cage as soon as they see u so u will let them out... i wont let her out first thing in a morning anymore until my daughter has had her breakfast n fizz just scratches like a dog to get out ive started to ignore it but she looks so hard done by its hard!!!!

Ive taught to wave and shake my hand but she doesnt always do it on que but we r getting there. She keeps going on the table and knicking my daughters food off her plate im trying to put a stop to this but nothing works so i have to put her in the cage when we eat.
