Thank goodness...and that young bloke. So glad he's back and well. Better luck than I had on Sunday trying to catch a lost galah called Boris who called in for brecky on my drive. I got so close and had a fishing net (on a stick) but missed her.....@#$%!

Hi Eileen,

I love happy endings and am so pleased for both you and your father-in-law.

Your tenacity has been astounding but has certainly paid off, and well done to the lad who caught him, I admire his bravery as I think most of us know what a bite in that part of a hand feels like.

That has really cheered me up on a day which has been a bit gloomy Very Happy Very Happy

Rgrds/Siggy

hi kleopatra the bottom picture of him sitting the right way up is his carry cage the other is actually a chipmunk cage ite 4ft high 3ft wide and about 2 ft back average guess its a spare cage i had under my bed i brought it new last year but never used it, his cage was actually stolen, so with this been around we decided to modified it a bit to suit him till my farter inlaw can get a new one for him , although we did have to lock the doors as he would definatly be able open them, i know it looks a little strange with the shelf in but he kinda likes having a plat form so it suits him for now

I thought it was rather neat, the shelf. You can buy them for some cages.
I see he has a nice selection of food and water dishes...Not bothered though too busy hanging upside down lol.

I am curious to know if he wanted to eat when he got home?..or was he already full from "outside" Laughing

hi rubytoo yes he was eating he went straight for the seed dont think he really needed it but at least we know he has an appetite,
and kleopatra it is fine that you ask i never said about his cage in the post because i didnt want to name the person just incase they joined or something and the arguing over a cage with someone isnt worth it, all we wanted was pepay back home, and thats what we got and no doubt he will be back to himself in days hes stepping up and taking food so i think within a week or so he will be back to a house bird not a caged bird which is the way we all like him,
